The challenge
QFD research was showing Queenslanders were continually underestimating the severity and urgency of bushfire risk every season. Our challenge was to build understanding and support preventative behaviours by making the threat feel real, immediate and personally relevant.
The Solution
We created the Bushfire Respect It Or Regret It platform, bringing bushfire warnings to life through the voices of Queensland firefighters, making the message feel personal and emotionally resonant.Delivered across outdoor, social and digital channels, the campaign reframed bushfires as events that demand respect, helping shift attitudes and encourage preventative action across Queensland communities.
