QUT and new world thinking says 'go there' New world thinking says, 'Anything is possible'. And a new campaign for the Queensland University of Technology, through its agency BCM embraces this sentiment.
Agency partner Kevin Moreland said "alongside QUT's charter as educator and researcher they also take on the role to encourage and support all worthy real-world aims; to be a positive influence and force in both their own university community and in the world community". The campaign focuses on this fresh thinking and combines imagery that also reflects both the QUT and world communities. New visions are the future. QUT is all for it and, through the campaign theme, encouragingly says 'go there'.
Moreland states, "The campaign importantly links with the optimism and positive outlook of the undergraduate, Gen Y market. They have only known positive economic times and to them anything is possible - they look for new opportunities and experiences. The campaign theme, 'go there' expresses being open to these experiences and possibilities. "The optimistic, modern, upbeat tone of the campaign also highlights that fun and education are not mutually exclusive and further reinforces QUT's position as 'a university for the real world'". The campaign will run as cinema, television, print and online.
