BCM scores big at the Qld AMI Awards BCM came home a winner again as the most awarded organisation at this year’s Qld State Awards of the National Australian Marketing Institute Awards for Marketing Excellence held at Customs House in Brisbane last Friday. BCM campaigns took the top award in three categories:

The winning Sunsuper, Sizzler and Qld Office of Gaming campaigns will all go on to compete in the AMI National Marketing Excellence Awards to be held at the Sofitel Hotel in Melbourne on 11 October. Friday’s success follow BCM’s blitzing of the Qld AMI Awards in 2005 with 4 wins for Sunny Queen Farms, Angel Flight Australia, QUT and Qld Transport, plus another 4 BCM campaigns as Finalists. Sunny Queen and Angel Flight campaigns went on to win a combined 4 National AMI Awards. BCM are two time winners of AMI’s top national honour “Marketing Program of the Year”, the highest accolade in marketing in Australia – for Sunny Queen Farms “Crack a Sunny Queen Smile’ campaign in 2005 and for Golden Circle’s “Baby Food” campaign in 2003 (which also won Gold at the 2003 AFA Effectiveness Awards). The Marketing Program of the Year is selected by the AMI from all category winners and is presented to the entry judged as the most outstanding across all across categories.
