BCM expands with new business wins Fuelled by recent account wins, leading agency BCM has entered a new and exciting growth phase, which has seen the agency expand its space commitments by 50% at its Fortitude Valley premises, and refurbish the existing agency space. In terms of new accounts, BCM has just been appointed to handle the Budget Direct advertising account. Budget Direct is part of the Budget Insurance group of companies, one of the leading international providers of personal lines insurance. Internationally, the group administers over 2 million policies, with more than $1 billion in premiums. The account was secured following a competitive strategic and creative pitch involving three agencies.Other recent new account wins include Australia’s newest National Rugby League team, The Gold Coast Titans, and children’s indoor fitness and adventure centre operator, Capitol Kidz. Queensland Health has also appointed BCM to 5 new projects including ‘The State of your Health’, ‘Young Men and Alcohol’, ‘Cervical Cancer’, ‘Asbestos Awareness’ and ‘Skin Cancer Prevention’ campaigns, all awarded in competitive pitches. Additionally, leading sporting, active and leisure wear clothing retailer Canterbury Clothing has appointed BCM to handle their Media account. The Gold Coast Titans, Capitol Kidz, and Canterbury Clothing accounts were all awarded without pitch.
